6.5” tall handmade in Puebla by the brothers Castillo Balbuena in a traditional clay technique. Clay is collected by the artisans in Izucar where it is then transported to their workshops and worked over several weeks to get the right consistency and then create the shapes desired. After the kiln, items are hand painted.

Traditionally used for candles to be used decoratively, on ofrendas, or for ceremonies. Can also be used to hold incense sticks.
